New Track from the mighty Orange Goblin!
London's darkest burning star in the world of heavy stoner is back for the first time in 4 years with a whopper of a new track! Orange Goblin are due to release a fresh record, billed for Valentine's Day 2012, called "A Eurology for the Damned", and here's the first taste of this bad motor finger, and having been a solid Goblin fan for a few years now, I can confidently say, 'Red Tide Rising' is stand-out fuckin' stuff! I was turned onto the band's 2007 record "Healing Through Fire", a loose concept based record about the great fire of London in 1666, and it's been a staple of my listening ever since. As such, I've been raring for a new record to sneak out and hearing this track has got me excited! C'mon Valentine's Day!
Check out the new tune on Noisecreep right here, you won't regret it: http://www.noisecreep.com/2011/12/15/orange-goblin-red-tide-rising-song/
Cheers!

Clutch Perform New Song At Beer Launch Party
Big props to the folks over at the excellent Soda Shop for this bit of fried gold( go over and give it a read at http://thesodashop.wordpress.com/ ) .It would seem that not content with being one of the gnarliest , most badass bands around, Clutch have now set their sights on the world of alcoholic refreshment, with American brewing folk New Belgium set to launch a special Clutch beer in the Maryland rock meisters honour.Fittingly, it's a whopping nine per cent, and is available in 22 oz bottles. The band also used the occasion of the launch of this 'dark sour ale' to premiere a new song, which we are please to announce is , well fuck it, it's Clutch, and therefore wicked.Check it out, while I hunt down some of that Clutch beer.Nom Nom Nom . . ..

New Mastodon Song - Spectrelight!
Yet another newbie track from Mastodon's forthcoming album 'The Hunter', it's safe to say that this is fast becoming one of our most eagerly anticipated releases of the year. Featuring a now obligatory appearance from Neurosis legend Scott Kelly, it's another balls out rocker, with a relentless, nagging groove to it that just begs for repeat plays, the band's trademark monolithic riffing underpinning some brilliantly old school heavyy metal wizardry.Safe to say, September 27th cannot come quick enough . . .
