You Should Be Listening To... Orange Goblin!

London stoner rock ambassadors Orange Goblin got together back in 1995. I came to know them after getting myself a copy of their 2007 album 'Healing Through Fire', a loose concept album about the Great Fire of London. And what a whopper album it turned out to be! Pure riffy stoner weight with earthy British rock sensibilities about it. Here's a taste that conveys the gloomy groove that defines the record, and displays singer Ben Ward's ability to conjure up striking images and guitarist Joe Hoare's flare for writing unnerving passages, fueled by Gibson SG's and Mashalls of course.
